Don't waste the money
I have bought 2. Yes, 2 of these bats for my son who is 9 and just started playing baseball. The fist bat made it just 5 hits before it bent. I thought maybe just bad luck and I would just grab another and return the first. That was not the case when I saw all the hoops you have to jump through to return it with little hope of them actually doing something about it. Meanwhile the second bat lasted about 3 games before it bent. And lets just say that at a 9u level kid pitch it did not see much action before it was toast. So buyer beware. I will not be giving any more of my money to Easton bats or the Easton name sporting goods.

Weak metal
Bought 4 four months ago and is bending at the handle. Was used three days a week for 8U baseball. Has not been dropped or stepped on.

BENT! Do not buy
Bought a Dick's and have had this bat for less than a month and it is already bent. My son has hit with this bat 2 games and 2 practices. I absolutely would not recommend. I can't find the receipt and Easton states in their warranty instructions the receipt is needed so prob a waste of $50. Very disappointed!

BENT…Immediately…
Similar story to the two previous customers. Bought at Big 5 Sports for my 7-year olds first year of Pony League baseball. Used, but not abused on 40 MpH machine pitch baseball (both at practice and local batting cages). Noticed a bend after first use. Terribly disappointed…but not nearly as much as my rookie ball player son. Waste of $40/$50 when we can least afford it. Total turnoff for us.

Eaton Havoc Bat
I recently picked this bat up for about $50 at Dick’s. This is my son’s first year of junior high baseball and the bat is already slightly bent. My son is a small guy, not hitting it too far. Disappointed, especially since we have spent so much money on baseball gear already.

Terrible bat, might as well burn 40 dollars.
My son likes to swing a balanced small barrel 2 1/4" bat. Now finding a small barrel -5 nowadays like in the 1990s or early 2000s with a USA stamp is impossible. So this is the best we could find. He bent not one but two handles on two completely different Easton Havoc bats. FYI, he hits about 200-250 feet off of a tee and just turned 11. So it isn't like he is hitting 400 foot bombs with this bat. I am still waiting on what Easton will do about this after taking pictures and sending them in today. So when I went back to Big 5 today to return both bent bats, they told me to go pound sand and maybe next time buy a quality more expensive bat and take the chance it doesn't bend. So my son in the next few weeks will swing my vintage little league bat from the 1990s. No way will that ever bend because back in those days they made quality products.
