DO NOT BUY THIS BAT - IT's DEAD BEFORE 1ST USEDO NOT BUY THIS BAT
This bat was dead from the 1st pitch. My 8 year old was hitting with it and it didn't sound right. After about 10 hits and him shaking his hands that were ringing (he's never had that issue before) I said throw a few to me. It hits like a bat that is 20 years old and has the cap popped off. NO sweet spot or sound at all. DEAD! I took it back, of course academy said not my problem call the manufacture. The manufacture said pay $30 for shipping and we'll then tell you if we will replace it or not, and if you want the bat back pay another $30 to ship it back to you. Nice hustle they've got going.

Good While It LastsWe purchased the 2021 29" version of this bat for my 9 year old in June 2021. It survived a total of about 25 games, summer, fall, and spring combined until it broke off at the handle on a ground ball to shortstop. This was never used in machine cages and only with real baseballs. I called customer service and they said that they would need to call me back, as it broke a few months after the warranty period expired. I have yet to hear back from them.
This is a good option for kids who can't yet swing a heavy bat, but it will inevitably break. So unless you can budget $200 for a new bat every year, I would not recommend it.

Hits nukes until it cant. This bat is fire, light weight but a bit of an endload feel. My son was hitting nukes during spring season until it cracked. thought it was a fluke so we bought another one and it cracked in the same place. Another player on the team had the same bat and theirs cracked also.. I cant make this up it was all in the same spot. durability is -10 out of 10.

Light weight but crackedI have had 2 of these like the other review. I bought a warranty, but my 8 yr also hitting shots with it, but it cracked above the E in Easton both times after only 2 weeks of use. I could tell it cracked during the game because the bat was immediately dead.

Good until its notI got this bat at Christmas as a gift. I was a weaker kid and had trouble finding a bat that was light enough for me. This bat was perfect, correct length and correct weight. I used it over the winter in a HEATED INDOOR FACILITY. I was hitting nukes. When the spring season came around I was doing great. I was hitting line drive doubles into the gap. Half way through the season though, it cracked around the handle and broke. I thought nothing of it and sent it in to get a new one with my warranty. I was hitting just as well again with the new bat that I got back. I used it over the summer and then in the fall season. The same thing happened in the fall season. I was hitting doubles and triples with the bat. Just like last time, it broke right around the handle. This was the second time the bat had broke in the same spot. I didn't bother sending it back in to get a new one even though I still had the warranty. I would not recommend buying this bat. There are much better bats out there just as light the won't break as easily.

Do not buyThis bat was cracked by a 9 years old kid after 1 year and 1 month of use just out of warranty. This is terrible considering it is not a cheap bat. Easton do not want to repair or exchange the bat...

Cracked!Bought this bat for my 6 yr old son on 5/17/23 and it cracked on 6/21/23. He was the only one to use the bat. He hit leather baseballs only as recommended. We live in the southeast so temperature is not a factor. I filed a claim with my receipt, however it is very disappointing to spend the money that we did and the bat only last a little over a month.

Cheap batI bought this bat about 3 months ago for my sons little league (school league 8 year old). Barely used. Wasn’t being used every day. During batting practice his bat literally broke in half. The top piece flew off towards the pitcher. Not worth it. Spent money on a bat that my son wasn’t able to use for an extended period of time.
