Rated 5 out of 5 by from Showstopping Bat!!! This bat is outstanding!! As soon as I pulled it out of my bag teammates and their parents were asking me about it. The look and texture is like nothing I’ve seen before!!! It has this cool yellow writing and when you touch the bat you can actually feel the letters!! One of my favorite things about the Hype is the sound, it’s not like other bats that make the loud DING sound, the Hype makes a sound that almost sounds like a wood! Thepop on this bat is like no other, and it feels awesome when you hit with it. I used to use the Meta, so the only downside is that most of the weight on the Hype is towards the end of the bat, so at first I popped the ball up until I got used to the weight balance differential. I got this bat about a month ago, but as soon as I picked it up I switched over and so did two of my other teammates (sharing is caring!).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Hype Comp DELIVERS!!! Just recieved my 2023 Easton Hype Comp and couldn't wait to hit my local D-Bat for some cuts!!! This bat has serious POP! Love the stiff feel and the power boost comfort knob this year is the BEST feel yet! I didn't think I could love a bat like I did my Maxum XL but this years Hype Comp may have just changed my mind! Great job Easton! 'Bout to hit winter indoor practice with ultimate confidence! TEAM EASTON.

I have been swinging an Easton Ghost for the last year and this bat has one-upped my favorite bat of all time. Right out of the box it made me want to get out onto a field and get some swings in. This bat has some great features. It has a nice stiff feel and some serious pop! I love the feel of the grip and the soft knob and it has a nice balanced swing. I like the barrel size, it feels like you can never miss a ball. I can't wait to hit some dingers in a game soon!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Powerful Bat! I just received this bat in the mail as a tester for the R & D club. I immediately fell in love with the bat grip. I used it today during a hitting lesson & noticed a tremendous difference between this bat & my old bat! The ball pops off the bat with speed & power. My swing felt more smooth too, probably due to the lightweight feeling the bat advertises. This bat definitely didn't disappoint! I plan to take videos & upload them to social media the next time I use it...I was just eager to review how much I love this bat! Thank you Easton!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Hype is real! Got a 2023 Easton Hype 29/19 about 1 month ago. It was hot right out of the wrapper. My grandson broke it in with about 160 swings off the tee and then about 75 in the batting cage. The first at bat he went backside down the line to the fence. He is small for an 11U player and consistently makes solid contact but rarely does he drive it deep. Two other players on our team had been struggling and asked to use the bat with the same results. After one tourney it got nicknamed "the magic bat". Results in the next tourney were similar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice balance good pop out of the wrapper Just picked up the Hype Comp for my 11u son to try out during our fall season. First impressions are that it's nicely balanced, not too end loaded and as really good pop out of the wrapper. The handle/connection piece seems stiffer than other bats which is allowing better energy transfer to the ball. My son, who's not a big 11u player, felt comfortable right away swinging this bat. It has a huge barrel and seems like it has a large sweet spot. We've only had it a couple days but so far we're very impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Balance is Power The difference the Hype Comp 2023 makes is felt immediately. The weight is very balanced and the sweet spot is so large that low contact hits are rewarding. I’ve had the Hype for a few months and hit about 600 balls a week, durability is definitely its strong suit.

There’s been no drop off in production, pop or its condition. It has a slick design and balanced feel for easy power generated. I’m impressed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easton Hype Comp for 10u The boy just started swinging his new drop 10 the other day. The sound off of it is significantly different than his Marucci Cat9. Denser and more distinct. Seems like there is good pop off of it and he seems to really like it. We've only done some skills work with it so far (hitting tee and soft toss) and just one game so far. But, so far so good, and he seems to dig the new bat. The paint job on it is pretty tight too...his mom is a fan of the steelers colors...

At first he was getting vibrations at the handle but after a few wlseing and connecting on the sweet spot it started to feel better and he started hitting the ball deep in the outfield. He also got a couple of his travel ball teammates from the Socal Prospects and they too got a chance to swing the bat. They enjoyed the experience and the weight of the bat. It felt good at contact but not good closer to the seam of the barrel and handle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sweet Bat with Nice Features I got this bat a week ago and haven’t swung it in a game yet but used it in the cages and there’s a lot of up sides to this bat. I use to swing the cat bats and recently switched to the Easton Hype and have hit two out at 255+ (age 10) so I was excited to try this bat. The grip is really good and the bat has good balance. I like the way the ball pops off the bat with a lot of velocity. I would recommend this bat for players looking for that balanced feel and high pop.
