These helmets were designed with protection, comfort, and visibility in mind for female athletes. With three distinct shell sizes to fit a wide range of head sizes and head shapes, the helmet is strategically engineered to address and reinforce crucial impact points. The forehead and cheek pads are treated with ClearDri™ and Aegis™ Anti-Microbial to fight off bacteria and sweat, while the entire helmet is lined with extra-plush foam. A sleek, new integrated facemask with hidden hardware and added jaw coverage sits lower and closer to the face, maximizing overall vision. The Ghost Helmet is available in both two-tone and solid matte finishes, is NOCSAE certified for all levels of play (Facemask certified for balls no smaller than 11” in circumference), and has an integrated chinstrap that clips directly to the ear vents.

Bought this a few weeks ago, and while the helmet is great quality, I wish the site would have been more specific on the sizes. A small for softball is NOT the same as a tee ball helmet and this one came in with that sticker on it. I would have ordered a size bigger had I have realized that at all but really didn't think my 7 year old needed a M/L yet.
