Not durable at all. Cracked 5 days in.
This bat is not durable at all. Broke in 5 days after purchasing at launch. $500 dollars is a ton of money for a USSSA bat. To make matters worse the warranty is 15-20 business days to even be reviewed.

Garrett Weir, Dubb review
I received this bat about 2 weeks ago and it's EXTREMELY HOT with the wrapper still on!
Weight distribution makes it feel much lighter than what it is. I have the 31 drop 8 and it honestly swings like a drop 10. This is the new wave. The pop is HOOOOOT

This baseball bat is incredible! The performance is top-notch, with a solid feel that provides excellent power and control at the plate. The grip is comfortable, and the material construction ensures durability without compromising on lightweight maneuverability. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a beginner, this bat delivers exceptional quality and consistency. Highly recommended for anyone serious about their game!

Cracked a DUB bat after 5 weeks (45-50 at bats)
Son plays 11u baseball and he wanted a new bat. I researched bats in May 2025 and decided he should try the new Easton DUB (a nice balance between the Hype and Icon).
Purchased an Easton DUB 29 Drop 10 in early June 2025. It was used for the first time the weekend of June 7, 2025 and was used in about 15 games (40-50 at bats) until it cracked on July 12, 2025.
During an at-bat on July 12th, I heard a different sound when the ball was hit and the pop appeared gone. Looked at the bat after the game and saw there was a noticeable crack. Coach said that if an ump sees this crack, they would throw the bat out of the game. So since then, he’s had to use another player’s bat.
My son weighs only 75 to 80 lbs, and isn’t hitting the ball so hard that he should crack a bat. This batting wasn't used in a batting cage or with dimpled balls. Rather it was used in games (about 45-50 at bats), off a tee with baseballs, and some waffle balls. In the last three seasons, he's had no issues with his Marucci Cat, DeMarini Zoa, or LS Meta bats. I’ve heard of other people having durability issues with the DUB.
He purchased the bat with gift cards he received from friends/family for his 10th and 11th birthdays. Can’t find the receipt.
The DUB isn’t an inexpensive bat and should last longer than 5 weeks! I am happy to ship my son’s bat to Easton to see if they can repair the crack. Because we lost the receipt, I'd be happy to pay for the shipping. Most Easton bats come with a 1-year warranty, so there shouldn’t be any question of warranty timing because the bat has only been on the market for about 2.5 months.

Huge Sweet Spot!
I have been using the Easton Dub for a few weeks now and I completely love it! The Easton Dub Bat (30-inch, 20-ounce) thanks to its innovative features and vibrant design. One of its standout attributes is the double barrel technology, which has been lauded for enhancing performance. This technology provides a larger sweet spot, allowing for more consistent and powerful hits. It feels great in my hands, offering a balanced and comfortable swing.
The bat’s vibrant colors not only make it visually appealing but also add a psychological edge, boosting player confidence at the plate. The combination of aesthetics and functionality makes the Easton Dub Bat a noteworthy choice for players seeking both style and substance in their equipment.
In terms of durability, while some composite bats face concerns about longevity, the Easton Dub Bat has been engineered to withstand rigorous use, ensuring that players can rely on it throughout the season.

New tool in the army arsenal
Nothing like it in the market - the sound of the ball coming off the bat is like none other. The feel off of the swing is a slightly end-loaded and a good mix for contact and power hitters alike. Best pop of the army arsenal and seems to be tough as I’ve already swing it a few hundred times in games, practice and cages.

Beautiful bat
When I received the Dub, I immediately loved the look of it. Awesome decision/colors!!! I took a couple of test swings with it and it was HOT! Well balanced and a lot of pop. I was super excited to put it in action on the field. Unfortunately, at my 2nd at bat, it cracked so badly that it was unusable after that.

Not Bat
I swung the DUB at the launch event in Houston. The bat is somewhat end loaded but has tremendous pop out of the wrapper. The color pattern is on point and pop and catches your attention.
I can not speak to durability of the bat at this point however this is another great bat in the Easton family.

Best -8 on the market !!!
I got the Easton Dub a couple weeks ago and in my first AB I crushed a 300 foot grand slam to CF. This bat is pretty endloaded I love the swing weight. Most -8 bats swing way too light and I’d prefer to swing a -5. Since PG changed the rule, this is easily the best -8 I’ve tried.
