EASTON ROPE -3 (2 5/8" BARREL) BBCOR BASEBALL BAT 32"

3D Ropecoil Composite Technology
Revolutionary barrel design in which 3-dimensional composite rope is wrapped vertically around the barrel at the sweet spot, coupled with optimized composite barrel thickness towards the end cap and taper, to create an expanded and maximum performing sweet spot.
ConneXion Max
ConneXion Max technology amplifies energy transfer and offers an overall solid feel at contact. A new elastomer connector interlocks the handle to the barrel while eliminating vibration at contact.
Opti-Flex Handle
Brand new OptiFlex Handle is designed to the exact same specifications that elite high school and college athletes demand. Each handles' stiffness is optimized to the length and drop weight of each bat, directly enhancing feel and power output on every swing.
Power Boost Soft Knob
Provides hitters with more leverage, while reducing vibration and improving comfort for the bottom hand.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cranking Ropes with the ROPE Loving the new @eastonbaseball ROPE bat. I had a good time swinging the Rope BBCOR today. Love the grip and the balance. It felt good for the first 75 swings. Many more swings to come this week. Best BBCOR bat I’ve swung (hacking with some bats from Central Catholic baseball guys). My only complaint so far is I will need a new grip because I sweat a lot and I do not know where to get this same grip during the winter. #TeamEaston #PoweredByEaston #ROPE #H3Hitting

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rope vs Voodoo My son is a sophomore in high school and plays travel ball as well. He is about 6'0" and 170 lbs. I got him this 33/30 Rope as soon as it came out to start breaking it in during fall ball. He was using a Voodoo 33/30 but complained about the sweet spot. He absolutely loves this Rope. It is one thing to watch kids hit in a cage off of a machine where they get barrel after barrel but in real life during live pitching the odds of nailing that smaller sweet spot on the Voodoo goes way down. This Rope has a huge sweet spot and great power even when he just misses perfect perfect. I don't think this has any less power than the Voodoo but if it does I would take the 3X sweet spot over perfect power.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Skeptic Proven Wrong Was lucky enough to get my hands on the new Rope BBCOR prior to launch. Man oh man am I impressed. I was more than a bit skeptical of the new technology, especially a multi-piece composite bat that required ZERO break-in. I took their word for it and headed straight to the HitTrax cage at my local D-BAT. To my surprise, the ball EXPLODED off the bat easily setting my new personal best exit velo. Average EV over a 50-swing test was up 12% compared to the ol’ faithful 5150. I put the bat to work with a team of 15U travel kids. Needless to say it was the ONLY bat used for two entire pool play games last weekend. Only time will tell about durability, but it’s freakin’ hot out of the wrapper for as long as it lasts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dingers... 12 year old hitting dingers... We just got this bat for out 12 year old, 13U travel ball son. We bought the 32", -3. I was concerned about the weight, and his ability to swing a heavier bat, but this bat is designed well, there's no leak in his swing with the weight, and his contact is more consistent. He confident, and his hands take less shock.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Overpriced Dud Bought this for my son, then took him to the cages for work. Easton says this bat is hot out of the wrapper and doesn't need to be broken in. That's false. It does have decent pop, and the sound doesn't ching if you barrel the ball. But, if you you are off you'll hear the metallic ching sound. Rope design negates the trampoline affect composite bats need for power. Wrapping rope around a cylinder works for keeping fluid in pipes, not bouncing balls off it. Performs worse than bats 1/3 the price. Just unloaded this bat and used the funds to buy a Rawlings Icon for him. He's much happier with how the Icon feels in his hands, and he hasn't had a chance to hit with it yet. No time for my son to break in the replacement bat before this weekend's tournament, so it looks like he'll be using his 18 month old Cat X, which is a disappointment because he's outgrown it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Rope I really like the feel of the bat, feels very balanced with a really forgiving barrel. When you hit the sweet spot it comes off very hot
