As a 12U player I have been using the 31 -5 , at first it felt heavier at the business end of the bat but the more I swing it the smoother it feels when I swing. It is definitely hot out of the box and now my hands burn when I take it from my bag. The sweet spot of the Hype Fire bat seems bigger than other bats I’ve used as wherever the ball hits the bat it have awesome bounce like the ball jumps off the bat with little effort. I have about 300 or more swings so far and it holds up great as it just gets hotter! In short I for one approve of the Easton Hype Fire bat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HOT bat from the future!!! The hottest bat of 2023 came from the future! Got my hands on the unreleased 2024 bat via the Dugout Club, and the thing was crushing balls right out of the wrapper. Not only does look great (it catches eyes all over the field), but it sounds awesome, too. It has a satisfying CRACK when you square it up. Most importantly, it performs. Exit Velo measured higher with their Fire bat than their 2022 one-piece composite bats and their alloy bats. I got a 28” 10 and a 30” -8. They both feel balanced and light. No way to know whether it will be durable, but for now it’s in regular use in cages and games.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hot bat with eye catching colors! Was able to get this bat for my son that plays 11U. It was a surprise for him but when he opened the box he already knew all about the bat. He told me he was just looking at this bat on YouTube! Needless to say he was extremely excited. We went to the cage that same evening to get some swings in with it. The bat definitely has some pop to it. He likes the soft grip the bat has and it is a good balanced bat. All of his teammates have been taking some practice at bats with it. Great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big sweet spot 30 -8. I’ve hit with this in two tournaments. It’s definitely up there with the other big name brands. The sweet spot feels a touch larger than the others and the balance is the best of any of them. Durability has been an issue with another top brand, no issues so far with the hype fire but it’s early. That’s the only question and should know after the next two tournaments. So far, I’d recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good bat but no durability I am sorry but this bat does not have durability. It is a hot bat with a lot of pop but is too fragile. On about my 15th hit in a game, the bat cracked and I can no longer use it. It is a good bat if you want one for about a month, but otherwise, I do not recommend this bat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Bat that POPS Bat is definitely hot with a large sweet spot: My 9 year old son and I performed a 300 swing break-in before the weekend tournament. His first AB with the Hype Fire was a triple. His prefered bat is a CAT-9, but he likes the Hype Fire colorway; says it helps him see bat to ball better. It'll be interesting to see which bat he settles on at the end of the season. We both enjoy swinging the Hype Fire, it's almost a pleasurable experience the way the ball pops off this bat. My only issue is the coating durability. After one game the red paint is chipping away quite significantly. While this obviously doesn't change performance, it's shocking how quickly the coating it coming off. If you're a composite bat guy, the Hype Fire will not disappoint.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible service and difficult returns I purchased the bat 3 weeks ago and the bat cracked within 1 week. The return has been a nightmare. Have sent multiple emails and applied through the warranty process. Crickets. I have not heard anything. It is not an easy process.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hype FIRE is Fiiiiiiyuh! Had for 3 weeks, my 9u boys loves it. Moving from another top end competitors bat he feels like it has more balance and is better weighted. What I notice is simple… more barrels! I’m his head coach and other coaches (unprompted) say the same. He’s always had great hand eye, but he controls this bat better vs the bat controlling him. I grew up on Easton- great to see they’re still on it!

We went to the cages a couple of times that week and immediately noticed how light swinging and HOTT it was. The next week he used in the State Tournament and I have to say the ball was flying off his bat all week. Great Purchase, just hard to find. Easton is finally back on top of the bat game.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hot bat with huge sweet spot, small paint issues We have used the Easton Hype Fire in the cage and off the machine. It has to be one of the hottest usssa -5 bats out there. The sweet spot is large and extends more to the end of the bat than most. It actually is very hot near the end of the bat. The ball jumps off this bat. Its look is sweet. The color is so smooth it looks like a one piece as the connection point is very subtle. The only issue is durability. The paint has started to chip away on the barrel. Not sure it would last a season.
