Pop Up L Screen

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Effective and durable Bought this L screen 4 years ago and still in great shape. Older son is in high school and younger plays 13U travel. Has kept me from going to the hospital several times plus I can ramp up the velocity at short distance for older son. This was probably the best piece of equipment I've invested in. Light enough for younger kids to carry but strong and durable enough to last years as long as you store it back in the bag and don't leave in a cold garage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works It was getting dangerous for me to throw BP to my son. (too many drives back back through the box) so, I needed to protect myself. Once you set this net up a few times, its pretty quick (2-3 mins) to assemble. It's allowed me to throw from a closer distance and feel safe. It's taken a beating and is all good so far. Good purchase for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This L-screen is perfect for batting practice on hte field and in a batting cage. The only problem I can see with this is that the first few times you set it up, it is kind of hard, but after that it is very easy to set up. It can definitely be set up and taken down in just two minutes. I got it because the field I play at does not have one, so my dad uses it to throw batting practice, and to use in my batting cage at home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great L screen - totally worth it We have loved this L screen. It has held up well for us in the CO weather, which can be a challenge for equipment. It is a bit difficult to set up and take down compared to a pop up hitting net, but it is well worth it. We have 11 year old competitive kids who are starting to really barrel up the ball, and this L screen has been really great. It is much stronger / stiffer than I thought it would be -- I thought it would be similar to a pop up net, but it is really firm and well built and stands up to hard line drives on the frame and netting. Best trick we have learned is to keep the netting on the bottom two pieces of frame and roll the net around those when breaking it down. Then it is simply a matter of unrolling and attaching the vertical pieces and we're up in 3 minutes. Really like this net for the price and flexibility it offers in terms of travel.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Legs don't hold up over time I bought this product in 2017, but in 2021 both of the metal pieces that sit on the ground broke where the upright poles insert into the legs rendering the screen useless. I tried contacting Easton and Rawlings to buy new legs and neither were helpful or willing to sell new legs to me rendering the other parts useless as a pitching screen. I am looking elsewhere for a replacement

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great concept, disappointing execution I purchased this L screen, it was great for about a month and then everything started to unravel, literally. The sewing on the vertical and horizontal panels that secure the net to the poles came apart. I've always liked Easton products, the lack of quality with this one surprises me.
